1. Documents required at the time of Counseling
All original certificates of:
- Qualifying examinations, i.e.,10th,12th,B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Pharma / B.P.Th./ M.Sc. etc. In case of appearing candidates, the Result of first (n-1) semesters/ years of qualifying examination, If the result of nth semester/ Year is not declared on the date of counseling, where ‘n’ stands for total number of semesters/ years of qualifying examinations.
- Reserved Category (SC/BC/EBP/PH (Differently-abled person)/ ESM/ FF etc. of Haryana) certificate for Reservation in proper format, if applicable. The specimen formats are given as Annexure B-I to B-VIII.
- Sports certificate, if weightage claimed.
- Proper “Income” certificate / Affidavit in case of SC/BC /EBP candidates seeking any concession.
- The eligible SC students will submit the SC Scholarship Form at the time of admission/ deposition of fee, which can be obtained from the office of the concerned department and the same is also available on University website www.gjust.ac.in.
- Character Certificate alongwith attested copy.

About GJU: The
Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology (GJU S&T),
Hisar was established on October 20, 1995 by an Act of the Legislature
of the State of Haryana with the objectives "to facilitate and promote
studies and research in emerging areas of higher education to focus on
new frontiers of technology and also to achieve excellence in the
connected fields'. It was formally inaugurated on November 1, 1995. It
was named after Guru Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, a saint enviromentalist of
15th century. Keeping in view the nature of courses offered at the
university and the mandate for which it had been established the name of
the university has been changed as "Guru Jambheshwar University of
Science & Technology", Hisar.
The
university enjoys a rare distinction of getting recognised by the UGC
under Section 2(f) for recognition of degrees, on 11/1/1996 and under
Section 12(B) of the UGC Act to be eligible for central assistance on
7/2/1997, i.e., within 15 months of its coming into being. The
University opted for accerditation by National Assessment and
Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous organization of the UGC, in
2001-02. As a result of the excercise the NAAC accredited this
uiversity at "A" level (institutional score 85%) in 2002. The
University has inaugurated its new website for distance education on
07/06/2012 i.e. Website-www.ddegjust.ac.in. Today university offers
various courses in both streams in regular and distance educaiton
programme mode by academic branch of GJU Hisar.
